How To Buy Fractional Shares Of DePIN Assets On PinLink

Introduction Buying a fractional share of the RWA ERC1155 token representing DePIN asset on PinLink allows you to earn a portion of that asset’s profit stream over time.

For example, if you bought 1/8th of an RWA ERC1155 representing one of the GPUs on the PinLink marketplace, you would receive 1/8th of all profit generated by that GPU over time.

This allows you to start earning passive income from DePIN assets without having to own or manage one yourself. The following guide explains how you do this:

STEP 1: Head to www.pinklink.ai and click on “enter dApp” in top right hand corner.

STEP 2: Click “Connect” to connect your wallet and follow prompts that pop up in your wallet.

STEP 3: Click on the “Marketplace” tab on the left hand side menu. Then select the asset you wish to buy a fractional share of and press “Buy Share”. (In example, below the H100 GPU asset has been selected):

STEP 4: On the pop-up screen that comes up, select the amount of fractions you wish to buy and the price will be displayed. Click “Buy”:

You can view the total amount of fractions in the “Amount” section of the asset’s info on the Marketplace. So, for example if you buy 6 fractions and there are 10,000 in total, you will receive 6/10000 of the profit that the asset generated over time.

Note that you will need to pay in $PIN tokens, so will need to buy these on open market if you haven’t already.

STEP 5: Congratulations! You have bought your fractional share. Your proportional share of the asset’s profits will be streamed to the wallet which you used to make the purchase.
